Shawn Varner
Shawn Varner was born to military parents in Bitburg, Germany. When they returned from abroad, the family landed in Phoenix. Shawn grew up in the Arcadia area when it was still mostly orange groves. Her father was transferred to Flagstaff, where Shawn graduated from Flagstaff High School. She moved back to the Valley of the Sun in her early twenties and has since watched Phoenix grow into the fifth largest city in the country.
Shawn worked in banking and finance before venturing into commercial real estate, and she has been active in the real estate business for more than 17 years. Her diverse background, knowledge, and experience have allowed her to remain successful within a sometimes difficult market. She has helped a multitude of clients with sales, leasing, and property management within the industrial, office, and retail markets.
Shawn, with partners Drew Barker and Jeff Varner, was also involved in starting and growing a successful commercial landscape company in 2001.
She is licensed as a Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Agent in Arizona and has an Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration from Scottsdale Community College. Shawn is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), U.S. Green Building Council, AZ Chapter (USBC), and Phoenix Community Alliance (PCA). She volunteers as a Big Sister for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Arizona.
