Tamara Bigham Riggs
Tamara Bigham Riggs grew up in the southeastern Arizona town of Bisbee and has also lived in Tucson and Flagstaff, Arizona.
First licensed in 1981, Tamara gained experience in real estate administrative duties such as title abstracts/curative issues, lease administration and analysis, and residential and multi-family property management. While her children were young, Tamara returned to complete her degree in land use planning at Northern Arizona University, where she was a member of Golden Key International Honor Society.
Upon her husband’s job transfer to Portland Oregon, Tamara received her Oregon Broker’s license and furthered her career in commercial property management of multi-family, office, retail, and shopping centers.
Successful completion of industry training courses from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in leasing, marketing, and managing multi-family, office, and retail properties; Urban Land Institute (ULI) courses in site selection and assemblage; and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) investment property courses has increased her professional knowledge and commercial real estate business acumen.
Tamara has been a Valley of the Sun resident for over 18 years and maintains a small portfolio of residential real estate here.
Her interests include activities with her husband and three grown children, genealogy, scrapbooking, music, biking, and boating the waters of Lake Pleasant.
